听顿别蝉肠谤颈辫迟颈辞苍:听 The scholarship was established by a group of Colombo Plan Students from Singapore who studied at the University of Newcastle from 1968 in the then Faculty of Engineering. The purpose of the scholarship is to commemorate the fond and happy memories of their stay at Newcastle and to show their appreciation to the Australian and Newcastle community who helped them with their University education during their formative years. One scholarship is to be awarded annually to a 2nd year student from the Faculty of Engineering and Built Environment.

Selection is based on academic merit and financial need, in equal proportion.
