The Honourable William Lawrence Baillieu, Edward Lloyd Baillieu, Arthur Sydney Baillieu, Clivia Baillieu, Norman Baillieu and Maurice Howard Lawrence Baillieu made a gift to the Australian Soldiers' Repatriation Fund, established in 1916, with the proviso that funds would eventually be applied to such scholarships.

听Annual Comment:听 The scholarship provides: a stipend of $25,849 per year (2015 APA rate, indexed annually); a relocation allowance of up to $2,000 for students moving from interstate or $3,000 for students moving from overseas; and a thesis allowance of $420 for master students and $840 for PhD students. Tenure is 2 years for master students and 3 years for PhD students, with a possible 6-month extension.

听贰濒颈驳颈产颈濒颈迟测:听 Applicants must be APA and MRS applicants undertaking postgraduate study in medicine, law, commerce, economics or architecture. Preference is given to lineal descendants of Australian soldiers and sailors killed, blinded or permanently incapacitated while engaged in war service, with priority being given to WWI service.
